Socialize Socialize Socialize. Any dog can be trained to get along with all people and dogs. Start early like 6 weeks if possible. But i will admit pits are more difficult but definitely can be social

Hi mate. All good I hope? I had a Staffie/Pit many years ago, (Beowulf was his name) and, covering Bailey's ears, they are the best of breeds if you get a normal one, though bad 'un's are a handful and rarely change. Thankfully it's rare. Loving family dogs and great protectors.

Do you socialize him daily to other dogs? There instinct will always be eith them, but I'm sure you can reduce the chances of a attack.

If dog aggression disappoints you, why did you get a pitbull?

A good way to cure dog aggression is to socialize your dog at a dog park under your very close supervision. Immediately correct any unwanted behavior. I had a pit that was "game" and the first time I took him to the dog part he wanted to dominate every dog there. Any dog that would approach him he would flip the dog on it's back and dominate him. It took 5 times at the park to cure his dog aggressive behavior. But once he understood what I wanted from him he stopped the dominating behavior.

It could just be jealousy if you give the other dogs attention while you are out and about. Have had a few through the house.
