I love that, with one pointed exception, these costumes and this art style places this game in a very specific time frame. This could easily be one of the annual crossover events from 90-93.

Venoms animations are so sick, his heavy attacks stretch him so much you can see Eddie underneath. Thank god rivals made a ton of money so that the other devs can make stuff like this.

I was praying this was a Beat ‘Em Up like Shredder’s revenge. Was not disappointed. Instant cop. Glad they’re back with the whole retro revival type games

This feels like a tribute to everything fans loved about Marvel arcade games. From the design of the characters, to the varied roster, even the tag team mechanic feels like an homage to Marvel vs Capcom.
