WNBA Is Happy That Caitlin Clark is Finally GONE!?

Last night the Indiana Fever were eliminated from the WNBA Playoffs, losing to the Connecticut Sun, and ending Caitlin Clark's rookie season. During the post game press conference, Alyssa Thomas called out toxic Fever Fans and claimed the WNBA needs to "do something about it." Today we reflect on Caitlin Clark's rookie season, and how the WNBA was riddled with drama, jealousy, and pettiness. Are the WNBA and it's players happy that Caitlin Clark is done for the year!? And do you think they'd prefer the league without her!?

In her 11 years, she has never had this many eyes on her ever, and the scrutiny and pressure from fans. The WNBA isn't promoting Caitlin, Catlin is promoting the WNBA.

It they didn't allow Caitlin Clark to be abused. None of that would have happened. But management seemed to encourage it

Do people not realize that Caitlin’s mental health has also been affected this season. She has also been sent awful things and told horrible things, but she chooses not to blast it on social media. She is 22, just left college, and is figuring out the world most 22-year-olds aren’t expected to solve racism and misogyny in a league that has been around for years prior, not to mention she has always praised those who came before her and never has thought of herself as a savior or gods gift to basketball.

This is not Caitlin’s issue to solve. She tells people a million times to stop, but she can’t control if they listen to it or not. Fans will be fans no matter how many things you tell them. It’s been this way in men’s sports for years and even worse for them, and again, no matter how many times it’s been told to stop, it never does. Bigger celebrities, with no fallback back, never spoke on this issue either because how is a single person gonna solve a 400-year problem??

Honestly, I am a woman, but tired of the WNBA and this crazy, stupid narrative. If I were CC, I would not return back to let them go back to irrelevancy

I honestly think she should head to Europe and play there. She’d be respected and she’d make more money. The WNBA doesn’t deserve her.

Thank you for putting a light on the disgraceful behavior of the Ace's fans towards Hamby. Hammon got but a slap on the wrist for what she did to her as a WNBA coach. And Hamby should have been applauded for filling at the last minute for Brink in the 3x3 and getting a Bronze medal at the Olympics. The League is eating its own. 27 years and still sputtering!

The numbers speak for themselves! She's broken countless records for a reason, and it's those records that make people want to watch CC. The accusations of racism are absurd—it's simply jealousy. It's ridiculous. I hope CC comes back better and stronger, and continues to set new records. Proud fan from Dallas.

I've been a WNBA season pass holder for the past few seasons, so I'm not a new fan. But I am a disillusioned fan. and I don't plan to watch anymore this year. The pettiness and brutality this year has tarnished the product. I went to UConn, and just hoping they clean it up before Paige enters; they need better refs too.

Hello from Puerto Rico. I love the way you analyzed Basketball!!! Clark is a real, fantastic, and mature player. She broke and made 75 new records in the WNBA. She is very mature for her age. She didn't talk about any other player and put her mind and heart into playing her basketball. She is the most complete player in the WNBA or any other category in female basketball.

I say this, at the risk of sounding like Archie Bunker. The dominant group of WNBA athletes, have become EXACTLY what they have railed against for the last 100 years. They’re being called out on social media, for the ugly way they are playing. They deserve exactly what they’re getting!!!

The racist ESPN ladies' (Duncan, McNutt, Molly) and the rest of the racist sports media main goal was to fight against Caitlin Clark winning both ROY AND MVP, and they succeeded in one. Winning, which is how they must feel, that one award against Caitlin is what they needed. Now they are okay saying SOME good things about Caitlin since they robbed her of the MVP (at least a CO-MVP). The fever would have won the first series if the filthy, dirty WNBA had not been against Caitlin, the refs were absolutely pulling for the sun.

These women need to stay off the internet. Trolls and fans are not the same thing 🤷‍♂️

I canceled my paid WNBA League Pass. I canceled my paid ESPN YouTube TV subscription.
I unfollowed all WNBA teams on all social media. I'll be back next April and will ONLY watch Fever games.
The Fever should let go of Smith and get a BIG to protect Caitlin.

Let’s see 🤔. If Alyssa Thomson leaves WNBA, nobody will notice. If CC leaves WNBA, it’s worldwide news and WNBA will continue to beg for funding from the NBA.

❤your well-thought insightful videos. Maybe it’s more than jealousy. Maybe it’s that CC has made the WNBA liars. For decades, the WNBA has said that there is nothing wrong with their game. Their game just needs more promotion. CC showed that was a lie. She played a different game and the public responded. That made every player before her not just jealous, but a liar.
