Yay Katie! Thanks for hanging out for the hr while I do house chores 😅 It’s hard to believe last week I was soaking up all the California vibes, beautiful weather & Disneyland and now I’m back in Canada in gloomy weather and with a bit of a cold 😷 I can relate to your excitement for Disney because it was our first time going and we had a blast! I loved the Rise of the Resistance ride (was so stoked we had not even a 15 min wait) and so so happy we got to do all the rides & eat all the goodies. Hopefully next time, I’m in town longer & I’ll get the chance to meet you!💛🌝

It’s so funny when you mentioned putting Randa’s Crafty Corner wax in the freezer. I live in Florida, so it’s always warm and I store it in the freezer. The other day husband says to me “um, do you know you have wax in the freezer?” with the most baffled look on his face😂.🌔

The reds and oranges in her hair are stunning! Renovations are so hard! My parents went through a major renovation to their house when i was in high school, the kitchen ended up in the dining room, my dad did the demo, it was a whole mess, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel! Stay strong! ❤🌙🌕

It's so REFRESHING to hear someone talk so candidly about feeling overwhelmed due to changes in routine. I also struggle with adjusting to change.I would go crazy if my kitchen were loud and in a state where I could not place things where I think they should go. I'm sending tons of support your way!

Hey Katie...so sorry things have been rough all the way around. It feels like a lot of people are talking about struggles lately. Me included.
I feel for your little man. I suffer from chronic hip pain. Not fun at all.
Thanks for keeping me company while I stitched on my HAED Hometown Hero Firefighter.
I put in my first order with Randa. Super excited to try her putty.
I just finished Midnight Laundromat DAC & am now working on Melody for Mermaids and Magic. I am trying to decide on a good one with lots of green for the March Emerald event.

Thank you for the WIP and chat, Katie! I'm sorry you had a setback, but you're right, best case scenario, it happened while everything was torn apart and before everything was replaced. I'm not sure about California, but you should be able to get a vanity and faucet pretty cheap, as well as the cabinets. Having the doors makes it a lot easier if you're not able to find an exact match. I'm praying they get you all back to normal quickly and praying for Adam, as well! Hope you have a great week! 🌛🌜

🌙 The past couple of weeks I've had doctors appointments about 3x a week. I'm dealing with the long version of what I call "the beer bug". Can't eat meat anymore, always have inflammation, and pretty severe memory issues and that was after getting every pokey I could.

Definitely missed last weeks WIP and chat, but everyone deserves a break now and then. I hope everyone gets to feeling better on your end. Chin up, things always have a way of working out

Thanks so much for this whip and chat! I am just getting over the stomach flu. I am working on Peacock by DAC. I had a similar kitchen restore about five years ago at Christmas time. I did not handle it as well as you are! We had been in our new house for awhile when we had a plumbing issue under our kitchen sink. The plumber found a wet spot. It had a slow leak barely noticeable. Upon examining things the leak had spread under the kitchen flooring spreading to laundry room and to the edge of our family room and living room..It had spread part way up the walls where the kitchen cabinet were so all the cabinets had to be replaced! We had plastic up too! It took about two months of construction! We are great now and insurance covered all of it and we basically have a new kitchen which is beautiful! Wishing you the best with your's!🌜

I’ve been working on changing a telephone box in Street of London by DAC to a tardis for both TTR and Retro Cult Classic. Boy has it been a labor of love. Personally, a family member has cancer and I am recovering from cancer but helping to take care of him. Quite an eventful couple of weeks 💖💎🌝
