The most humble obscenely rich but generous CEO out there. Hats off to Tim

Quite simply, thank you Tim and your whole team.
I don’t use the engine on a professional level but I do have a creative need and the work your doing enables each and everyone of us to scratch that itch.

1) As an old software developer and someone who picked Unreal to learn how to make 3d games last year. Thank you so much for being the ones brave enough to tackle the 30% monopoly on Apple and Android. In the 90's we (developers) did not accept the Microsoft monopoly and eventually crushed it in litigation so I am hopeful and optimistic here too. These mini mobile computers should not block us from installing our own software easily and freely and we should not be restricted by Apple/Android and forced to use their stores so they can get a cut of our earnings as only sole option. We should have other options available and customers should have a choice to do whatever they want with their own hardware.

I am disappointed at how long Mobile phone companies have been able to get away with this monopoly (12+ years) and I just cannot grasp how they have been allowed for so long to block the owners of these devices (their customers) from installing their own software more freely. Are we renting this hardware or does it belong to us? I think part of the problem is that their customers just do not know that every time they spend money on the store that 30% of that amount has been going directly to Apple/Android even donations to charitable organisations as the facebook scandal showed.

Great to see Apple has lowered that amount down to 15% (when under 1 million bucks) which is still an outrageous amount but it is a start. So thank you for doing something about this. Good luck I have no doubt you have the support of all app developers in all industries on this issue.

2) UE5 looks amazing I wish I had a time machine.
3) Tim thank you for being awesome, epic mega grants to blender and even your own competitors like godot is a refreshing stance to see from a big company like Epic, I wish there were 1000 more of you placed in a variety of organisations, the world would be a better place.

First, thank all of you for continuing to provide great content despite Covid. I like how Tim has what looks like an old Apple II floppy drive and all setup, like it's used daily. Victor looks like he setup his tree in the one room he never leaves. Grayson, has a Charlie Brown tree that is black and white to match the rest of the decor. Brian being into graphics matched his outfit to the pictures. And Amanda, I love the Borderlands wall. Still love all the sweaters. You all ROCK!
