During qualifying for the 2024 Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, Felix Rosenqvist broke the track record with a lap of 59.2706 seconds.

The previous record of 59.3466 seconds was held by Will Power set February 26, 2022 in Round 2 of qualifying.

Cars 50 pounds lighter with same power units before 100 pounds comes back in w hybrid units mid season, so they are gonna be flying.
