You guys are all awesome and I appreciate all the great comments and questions from everyone. Really enjoying talking to you all in the comments section.

Interested in doing something good with RC? Check out Operation 11 Charlie and donate to those guys. They are working to prevent veteran suicide by getting veterans into the RC hobby and out having fun with others. I am not affiliated with them directly; it is just a great thing they are doing and I want to help spread the word!

The folks at Axial and Horizon Hobby made a tremendous video and you really need to watch it and give those guys some love!

Awesome Tamiya collection and I love all the luncbox vans and the Blitzer Beetle. I used to also love getting my monthly RC Action Magazine. OMG, the Dumb and Dumber van is epic!

Excellent overview and description of this Classic. The Manual is still Tamiya good... just different. Thanks for pointing out the differences and weaker points.
EVERYONE knows by now that I've wanted a Mad Bull.
Someone promised me one last year, but since I've become the Pyriah of YouTube... I'm no longer hoping.

So true, I loved getting monthly RC magazines, that’s all we could afford back them. I’ve recently started collecting the old magazine’s when I see one reasonably priced on eBay, marketplace etc. it’s great looking at all the old stuff 🙂

Neat looking car! I honestly never even heard of the Mad Bull until I saw it on your channel. I started RC modeling in the early 80s and had a Rough Rider, Frog and RC10 (I still have the RC10). I later bought a Tamiya Blazing Blazer (boy do I wish I still had that car). But after that, I had a big gap in my hobby and only started again in the last five years or so. I really like your idea of taking the paper off the center of the sticker in order to place them, I will have to try it. Normally, I get a little dish of water with a drop of dish soap, then I wet down the area that I am going to place the sticker. This lets me put it on and take it off once or twice to get it perfectly in position. Then, I just use a paper towel to push the water and the air bubbles out from under the sticker. This lets me do pretty good. (Unfortunately, I am my own worst critic and always look at the imperfections and wish I had done a little better)

Yeah dude! Mad Bull is where it is at! Welcome to the club. You are going to love driving this thing. It just doesn’t let up. Get some CVAs and bang a sport tuned in and you are ready to rock no matter the weather 😁 Just a grip it and rip it grins car!

Although I'd been buying the Tamiya rc catalogues since the late 80s, I didn't get my first Tamiya model until 1998, which was the Mad Bull. This was eventually sold and I've recently bought and built the Mad Bull again. It will interesting to see this model with the oil shocks, if you fit them.

Addam I truly like jowls you change things to fit you, from the paint scheme and how you added heat shrink to take out the ply in the steering. Again thank you for pointing out the similarly and deference of a few truggies/buggies. You have a sweet looking Mad Bull. 💯💯👍👍👍👍👍🤜🤛

Great call on changing up the colors rather then the box art. Looks great! I'll have to remember that Tamiya color code for a future build! I've used both dark and light gunmetal before but like the metallic color of this one.

Hey Addam, do you know what music you used in this video? Right around 11:20? Cheers!

The Mad Bull looks awesome. From what I’ve seen on Mark Brian’s RC Summer Slam videos, it’s also a very fun drive.👍😊

I never had a Mad Bull when I was growing up because I am so old that there were not remote control cars back then. But, I think it's a very cool and unique r/c car. I think the unique design makes it appealing. The Mad Bull is in stock at AMain. I think Amain has a 10% sale site wide for Black Friday. Thanks for sharing.

Great video and intro, I think your experiences are synonymous with many of us that have gotten into vintage RC.

I grew up in Alaska so we were pretty isolated from the rest of the world. Fortunately we had two hobby shops in our city. But I pretty much lived vicariously through the RC Car Action Mags. I dreamed of what I would get from the annual buyers guide and the thick tower hobbies catalog.

I fell in love with the Mad Bull the first time I saw it. It doesn’t make sense but it’s rad and aggressive looking car.
