Avoid this Tuktuk in Jakarta, Indonesia 🇮🇩

I had quite a delightful tuktuk ride in Jakarta, Indonesia for the price of 120,000. It took a turn for the worse when the Jakarta traffic hit rush hour.

Indonesian calls it Bajay. Yeah, the most uncomfortable public transportation. The fare isn't fixed. It depends on the distance and we should bargain the fare for good price.

It is called bajaj in jakarta. Fyi, it is not recommended to travel in city by bajaj. Despite it will be very hot, also bajaj is restricted in some areas(not flexible). Bajaj intended for short travel in residential area.

The best option would be taxi, recommend bluebird taxi. Or trans jakarta (bus with dedicated line). If traffic is bad trans would be the best option. If you would like to have sight seeing in jkt, there is free bus for tourists. One of the haltes is in front of national museum (opposite Monas). There is gocar and grab as well but no uber.

Btw the price that you paid is quite expensive. With that much money, you could travel by bluebird for 20-30km.

In Indonesia we called it "Bajaj" pronounce "Bajay" i really hate it when every foreigner called it tuk tuk, we're not in Thailand dude nobody called it tuk tuk here
