Ronin I went to school in Michigan. My pops came from Africa to visit and we went to Sears. That was many years ago. He noticed the people in the store. He asked me a question that to this day I remember. He asked. Why are these people angry. I had to tell him they are not angry it’s just the stress of life. I just returned from Cali Colombia. It is borderline depressing coming back to the US. But soon I am out.

I agree. I've only been to Santo Domingo on two trips, and I enjoyed it both times! There's a lot to do in the city, and you can still go to the beach about an hour away in Boca Chica and Juan Dolio. I'm going back in a few weeks. I can't wait to go back!

The only thing you won't find in santo domingo is cold weather (snow etc ) there's everything there, not to mention the freshness of the food, it's absolutely the the place to live if you're ready (monetary) or if you work remotely
