Court documents in the criminal case against a man who filmed himself traveling at speeds exceeding 170 miles per hour reveal the steps Colorado State Patrol took to identify the YouTuber who uploaded video of his traffic crimes.

The YouTuber, identified as Rendon Dietzmann, 32, of Texas, uploaded a video last year that was titled “...driving from Colorado Springs to Denver in 20 minutes.” The video shows Dietzmann traveling up to 173 mph on a motorcycle as he darts between numerous drivers while heading north on Interstate 25.

Shit hire me as an investigator, I knew who it was as soon as I saw the bike

While cars are being stolen in broad daylight light, cops decide to use their limited time and energy on catching a speeding motorcycle. 😂😂😂😂

Priorities. If law enforcement devoted this much time to keeping illegals out the crime would be decreased

Apparently the authorities have their priorities straight. Going through all that effort to ID someone for speeding which everyone does including the authorities themselves.

All that effort to find him only to find out he won't be prosecuted? Dang, I want to traverse the highways like this and not be prosecuted! The only difference, I would probably crash. So, at this time, I'll bow out gracefully. But, there will be a ton of people who will see this and go, "I'm in!" and try to meet or beat this record. Gotta prosecute, or else they're gonna see the highways turn into the Wild West of speeding.

This is what they spent your tax dollars doing, tracking down someone who literally hurt no one! And now they can’t even touch this person! Great work! NOT! 👎

No victim no crime 🤷
Only a police state would feel the need to persue it as of this point

Why do they care. Had he hit something he wouldnt have even knew it. I have seen one of these speeing bikes clip a truck and he was dead before he clipped the truck. He was the only one that died and life went on so why is this an issue
