His songs reminds me of the autum breeze i felt as a child which has been my best memory. And this can’t be reminded by any other song of these days. His songs got some huge emotion inside. Thanks for your music Gregory. 🙏🏽

If you’re reading this it’s not too late. Not too late to eat better. Not too late to go for a walk. Not too late to quit ...quit whatever it is holding you back..and it’s definitely not too late to love.Love yourself.Love unconditionally.Love everything and everyone.Love so much you don’t know anything else. You could die today. You could die tomorrow. You could die decades from now.But your energy lives. It lives now.And it lives for forever to come.Make it positive.Make it flow.Make it travel through the unknown.Lead by example.Follow beautiful souls. And never forget their are people out their who care.Care for you.Care for your mom.Care for your dad and everyone in between.I care.I assure you.We can make the most of our lives and be happy.Together with everyone in it, and everyone it may cross.Whether it’s for a minute or a lifetime.Cherish and adore your surroundings, and they will illuminate brightly.Every thing you’re eyes see is a canvass, be Picasso .Be great.I love you, you living legend :)

Gregory Alan Isakov is the reason they call musicians artists.
Each one of his songs is like a finely crafted piece of art.
Caves reminds you of Liars because of the building. The passion. It’s like an orgasm. At the end you don’t know if you achieved it or not or if you’ll ever achieve it again. It just keeps building and building and you don’t know if you’ll ever reach what you’re grasping for. All that “overproduced”, “new colored” “clutter” has to be there. This song is like falling in love. You know what it means the first time you hear it. That’s why he keeps saying, “Let’s put these words away”. He doesn’t need to say it because when you fall in love there are no words to describe it. But this song comes pretty damn close. The music, the lyrics, his voice. It’s beautiful. A masterpiece. This guy is a genius. He’s brilliant. He takes you places you may never get to go. I needed this song. Thank you, Gregory.

You go ahead
There's something I forgot
Walk slow and I'll catch up
Let's hear the stars
do their talking

I used to love Caves
Stumble out into that big sky
Remember that bright hollow moon
Showed our insides
on our outsides

This town closes down
same time everyday
Put out the smoke
in your mind
Let's put all these words away
Lets put all these words away

Now think alike birds
See 'em fly from St. Paul
And I go running when the night aches
Hear her every time she calls

Did I hear something break
Was that your heart or my heart
Like when the Earth shakes
Then the silence that follows

Chorus

This song takes me to a far away city down south. Somewhere across oceans, a town where peace reigns with every bell chime of its St. Paul cathedral. Snow falls slowly everyday as the city’s citizens buzz about in its streetlights streets, conscious of the peace and each holding that peace as their own personal purpose. The kids dream of it and the old take it to their grave as the sun sets past the tower of St. Paul on the snowy hills

They did this song here in Nashville a month ago with the Nashville Symphony. It was extraordinary. Gave me and my sister chills. We were especially excited because it's her absolute favorite. It's so creative and truly unlike anything else I listen to.

I have been sitting here for 10 mins straight but I still have no words to describe the uniqueness of this song. It's so different, so calming, strengthening, saddening and breaking all at the same time. So satisfying and fulfilling.

All of these overproduced comments?? He's trying a new sound, like all passionate music makers do. They're always changing/inspired by new sounds themselves. You have albums of straight up guitar and vocals to listen to, go listen to them. This shits gorgeous, as always. Gregory alan Kalashnikov💪💪
