The easy answer is rate rises have nothing to do with a tax cut of a few billion quid but everything to do with the BoE rasing rates far slower then the Fed. The entire world are seeing the same rate rises trying to tackle inflation. To say it is something we only have in the UK is a lie.

The pound fell against the US Dollar and the euro last Friday after the budget. This Is something that quite often happens when something new is introduced. On Monday it started its recovery and is still doing so as we speak. I really don't know what all the fuss is about.

It's true that the mini budget totally spooked thr Pound. But now it has almost recovered since then and perhaps has momentum to continue to outperform other currencies. This budget really hasn't been priced in yet. Only time will tell.

People ignore the fact that everything has fallen against the dollar recently. Euro, yuan etc. This is a big big gamble but who knows it may just work.
