I will use the Fotek SSR-25DA to control my heatbed, unfortunatly I got some fake ones. To find out if they were useable for my purposes I did some testing on these.

The tests performed were:
1- Temperature rise test 250Vac 10A
2- Endurance test 250Vac 10A resistive
3- High voltage 2500V for 1 minute (FAIL)

The article from UL has disappeared sadly.

Hey Man if you review your Car you will go to the Developer engeneurs? And test with their equip?
No real man, great test tutorial. You have done it with the right lab equip.
Thanks a lot

Thank you for the test. I bought a 10 amp rated relay from fotec, and only running 4 amps for 5 minutes max on an exterior circuit with 7 LEDs bulbs for my garage exterior lights. Now, you have me wondering if this is large enough? Seven bulbs at 16 watts each, let me find a calculator, is this right, 7 x 16 = 112 ÷ 120volts = amps of .9...?
So this relay should work a ok..
Some explaining, 7 exterior lights with LED bulbs, all wired together on the switching side of the fotec relay. Have 7 mini 12 volt motion sensors, one for each light, mounted three or four feet under plain light fixture in building vinyl siding. Have 120 volt to 12 volt transformer wired to sensors with the activation wires ran to 12 volt side of relay to have all the lights come on as a group of lights instead of only one at a time. Plan on mounting on plywood, to conduct tests to confirm correct operation of components, everything is arriving in next few days. On DIY website, some electrical engineers said I need each sensor wired to it's own relay, 7 relays? Not sure if that's the case, I will try with one, if I need more guess I will order more. Any help you can add, or point out would be appreciated.

Thermocouple is misplaced, it should be adjacent to the bottom heat spreader.
