Done the same, works, captain indeed! Looking close at these they're pretty high tech. The porcelain nose, the rubber gas feed tube that turns out to be electrically conductive to close the sparc circuit. Fun!

My dude. I've been researching how to fix a "no spark" lighter, but everywhere I look online, it just says to get a new lighter since the piezoelectric mechanism is broken. But then here you are, making the whole repair process look so simple and easy. Thank you.

One question though, soldering the two wires together would work the same as the copper wire, correct?

Just tried fixing mine, and found the problem for mine. Which is:

The piezoelectric spark end cable, that is near the mouth of the lighter that blows the fire, just need to be a bit more milimeter up to the near center of the blowing gas, instead of near the rim of metal ring near surrounding the mouth of the torch.

The problem is, that if it's near the metal rim, when you spark it, that spark will go zap the metal rim instead of used to ignite the flowing gas. Which make the gas effectively not ignited.

My solution is just to pull and bend the spark cable a milimeter more and mine is solved.

How to fix the gas issue? The gas is not passing but the spark is there. If you can show how to get the jet head out, gas pipe aswell and clean it that would be great, thanks!
