I'd like to put my mpd.conf in my "$XDG_CONFIG_HOME/mpd/" directory (aka "~/.config/mpd/"). It seems that the homebrew version of mpd doesn't respect the $XDG_CONFIG_HOME spec. According to the docs mpd should respect it, at least in Linux. Do you know how I can set it up on Mac so mpd picks up my conf file from within ~/.config/mpd? (I have already set up all environment variables correctly and it works with all other applications that I have)

Hey man, didnt seem to help me, I get an error in ncmpcpp saying "ncmpcpp: connection refused", and music doesnt load from folder.
