Very interesting! One observation, though: There were moments when I could not distinguish the object you were showing us, because you wore a black shirt. Just a suggestion for another opportunity, wear a color shirt to show a black camera.

Are you going to do a future detailed post breakdown of the desktop app options and/or workflow?

This is an awesome camera. I guess I will need to put one in my camera bag! Thanks for a fantastic review.

The potential damage to the lenses is a total no no for me.
A friend had the last version and had to write it off due to that issue.
They need to sort that out then might be a viable option.
Colin thanks for the review, like the hat!

I wish reviewers would show practical uses like real estate or something, instead of the selfie running, biking and skateboarding. But your review is excellent and covers the information well. I had the first version, and after an outrageous repair to lens scuffing, it scratched again and I don't use it, and it is somewhat of a deal breaker until they get something like sapphire glass.

Thank you. I found your review very helpful. I have the very first version of this camera which I like, but your view has convinced me that it’s time to upgrade.

Do you play lawn bowls? I would to to set up cameras each end for live streaming, be able to switch between each one. Then add in commentary to the live feed. The Insta360 ONE X2 is $800 Australian, so getting a bit expensive (and we would need 2). Bowls game is about 100 minutes to 120 minutes. Do you know of an 'out of box' set up that might work. I like the idea of tracking a bowler or the bowls or the jack. I just had a thought, the marker is at the end where the bowls end up, with horizon tracker and if we could get it to only follow the white jack, I could put it on his head, or would we see his bald head all the time, mmm. Options?

My Insta 360 X2 got water in the front lens after being under for 30 seconds for the first time. The battery and USB compartment was fully sealed. And the unit never got water in those areas. The front-facing lens is forever fogged with water. The unit continues to run fine, just with one camera forever blurry. Good luck with your warranty! FAIL
