Along with all that combat talent he also has the biggest heart of the Bat-Family. I like how Young Justice suggested this was intenional on Batman's part. When Wonder Woman accuses him of making Robin into another Batman, he explains, "I didn't train him to be me. I trained him so he wouldn't become me." I think the idea was that giving Dick closure on his parents murder allowed him to move on, unlike how Bruce is still stuck in that night in Crime Alley. I really saw it with Nightwing when he was able to tease Damien, "You're 10. How are you the darkest one in the room?"
