Alcohol drains my potassium, so I know this feeling very well, your potassium and magnesium are kind of linked, they do similar things in the body and usually if one is low or high, the other is too(According to my heart surgeon). It basically makes my heart rate go through the roof (180-200bpm)and I get the pain in my arm and everything. They never said it was a heart attack but my lord, it might as well be. I'm still not sure it wasn't the first time it happened. I've been to the ER for it probably 10+ times, the medical bills just keep piling up. And now, I've lost my insurance. Isn't life great? It just keeps spitting in my face.

I had an experience with similar symptoms and it makes me wonder if I had a heart attack. I had a tooth infection/abscess at the time and 1 side of my face was swollen. I was in the bathroom and started feeling dizzy and my left forearm was very painful and then I passed out. I was in bed for days with cold sweats, chest pain, rapid heartbeats, etc. I never get it checked or went to the hospital because I thought I'd just ride it out with antibiotics but looking back that was kinda stupid.
