People share frustrations with changes to Nevada 'Classic Car' registration meant to improve air qua

A Clark County town hall meeting became heated Wednesday, as an upcoming change to Nevada Classic Car registration regulations was discussed among those affected.

This isn't about air quality, it's about finding another way to generate revenue for state officials and politicians.

These are the folks that use private aircraft to commute, that you pay for.
The same ones that take an fleet of 12 vehicles to go to a press conference four miles away...

And you can't drive your car to work.

Every car that is 30 or more years old should be exempt. There aren't many left. Electric vehicles cause more pollution anyways....just somewhere else.

They've done this in other states. The number of classic cars is miniscule. Just the Police State flexing it's muscle.

Well if they're going to have classic vehicle owners meet smog requirements, then why the 5, 000 mile limit. I thought they were limiting the smog by limiting the miles, however after requiring these classic cars meet smog requirements then why does the mileage restriction stay?

Commercial jets are the biggest cause of air pollution. We had automobiles and power plants before jets. One jet produces enough air polution in one day to equal one diesel truck for a whole year. No emissions on aircraft, ships, or motorcycles. Some motorcycle engines are bigger than most 4 cylinder cars. Jet fuel pollution is the main cause.
