AGE APPROPRIATE CHORES FOR KIDS--COFFEE DATE THURSDAY

Today we are at swimming lessons. We drive about an hour to get there, but Ella takes two lessons per day for five days. She's doing really well. Cara gets attacked by mosquitos and she tells you her ideas for age appropriate chores for kids. This is just a few suggestions, nothing set in stone, not like The Home Depot or Applebee's or anything.

I love these guidelines! Child labor is the best so I'm looking forward to the help some day! I hadn't thought about kids being able to help with feeding Pete by 2, but that really is a simple responsibility they could take on!

My kids started helping with laundry when they were 4 and did their own by the time they were 7. It jas been a tremendous help!

The only chore I have for my five-year-old is garbage duty, he takes out the garbage once every three days or so. That's the only chore so far. I thought I was subscribe to your lovely channel, thank goodness I check back. Going to subscribe again

I remember doing a lot of different chores when I was a kid, but I have a hard time recalling how old I was.

I started mowing the yard when I was 10'ish. Western society babies our children who are capable of so much more.

My favorite is the grocery shopping. When my son got his license he would always ask if we needed milk or butter...shoot I would send him with a whole list. He shopped with me for years so he knew what I liked. I miss that now.

i think when they understand like 5 they need to start learning about chores mmm coffee.. farming is nice and helping with the animals is awesome.. my niece at age 4 wanted to dust everything so she did.. lol

I do well at using the toilet. I don't vacuum very well though. I refuse to wash the car. I'm a kid at heart. (jk... my heart is an old man's). Nice vlog. :)

Interestingly is that younger the kids the more they want to help around the house. The older they get, like Viktor, he got kind of lazy and everyday I need to remind him about his chores.

When I was like 9 I would be sent to the store to get Mom smokes... Can't send the kids to get smokes now - not allowed...
