CyanSky K3 V2 2000 Lumen Flashlight

This is a field test of the CyanSky K3 V2 Flashlight. In addition to beam shots from the V2 at the Oak Point Nature Preserve in Plano, Texas, the video also features several comparison shots vs. the K3 V1. I hope this will be useful for those considering whether or not to upgrade from the K3 V1.

Due to excessive parking lot activity, I moved the intro the the picnic area and then finished the review at a creek near the end of my circuit.

I will summarize my observations regarding K3 V1 vs. V2 in the comments as many people do not read the video description. Part 2 of the review will use the K3 V2 as a helmet-mounted light in a night Search and Rescue exercise.

A lot of people don't read the video description, so I'll summarize my thoughts on K3 V1 vs. V2 based on four separate field tests. In terms of raw performance, I'd give a slight edge in Low mode to the V2. It's a bit of a wash, but a slight edge to the V1 in Medium. The V1 is the clear winner in High and the V2 rises to the top in Turbo. While I'd generally prefer the V1 for High and lower, run times are better with the V2. A lot depends on the type of search and how wide-open is the terrain? The more open, the more I'd prefer the V1. For vehicle- or helmet-mounted search with short intervals in Turbo, I prefer the V2. That will be the subject of part 2 of the review. Sorry for the abrupt ending - too much wild activity in the parking area to film a formal wrap-up. Besides, the light should speak for itself :)

At first, I thought this light was overkill. But then I saw those two tests looking back into those dark areas. Wow. I walk in parks and nature preserves, sometimes during the evening. Is this light heavy?

But what about the size of the light itself? I feel like I wasted my time watching this and have no idea what the size of the flashlight is.
