Exposing the Flint water crisis

It's the age-old question: Is the glass half empty, or half full? For the people of Flint Michigan, it's far from being a settled issue. Some three years after the city's water crisis first made headlines, many people still don't believe their tap water is safe. Correspondent Martha Teichner talks with Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha, the whistleblower who alerted Flint residents to the dangers posed by the very water they drank, and to activists who discuss the legacy of the Flint water crisis: A loss of trust.

I was born in Flint Michigan. I live in Oregon now. Every morning I wake up and drink a fresh glass of water from my tap. EVERYONE deserves this right! The human body is 70% water. Take away our clean water you are taking away our lives. WATER is LIFE!

If the water isn’t colorless and clear, something is wrong.

Such evil. These people will reap what they’ve sown. Eternal judgement is coming.

As a kid, I and my sister was told a story that a guy swam 13ft across the Flint River and died from lead poisoning shortly after.

IF THE GOVERNMENT WAS CONCERNED WITH THE ISSUE THEY WOULDVE DONE SOMETHING TO HELP. THEY ARE DRIVING PEOPLE OUT OF THE AREA AND LITERALLY KILLING OFF THE PEOPLE WHO DONT GO.

Has anyone been arrested yet?
I’m sorry but I can think of 5 counts of criminal charges just by watching this video.
The ones responsible must be found and prosecuted.

I can't believe Governor Rick Snyder isn't in prison. How he got away with this is a horror story.

I joined the Boise Chamber of Commerce to bring attention to what was exposed in Idaho. While there, I talked to a guy representing the SBA. He stated that he worked for HUD representing the houses that they had affected by this issue in Flint. He said the corruption in this issue went all the way up into the Federal Government. When watching stories on this issue, you never see anything about federal Governments roll in this. It just all stops on a State level.

Florida water tastes horrible and the hot water feels oily. All of our states need to check the water. So many are diagnosed with ADD & ADHD, depression, anxiety, etc. Could there be a connection? It’s worth checking!

This is disgusting! But god bless all those who lost their lives and those who fought to save lives in their community😪

The tap water in Algoma, Wisconsin looks just like the water these people are dealing with in Flint, Michigan. It comes out of the faucet with a rusty color.
