For everyone commenting "the Ghast Quest is easy", it was not when this video released. They fixed the insane difficulty shortly after, meaning the quests are a lot easier to complete now! :D

The Outer Walls one got harder after the 2nd quest because everyone is just focused on getting credit for killing the ghasts and don't care about defending the wall.

My tip for the second quest is, wait a little bit, so others shoot the ghast first, load up your bow already, then take it out. worked very well for me.

It will actually be faster to do all of the quests when they're all open because while doing the first one you will also progress in almost all the other ones.

The fifth quest will be nearly impossible because even now like 1% of the rounds have 2 golems left, imagine the amount of mobs when the day comes.

Tip to complete 5 outer wall waves with 2 iron golems alive:
Use the lava chicken and brute force yourself through the invisible wall. Once you move beyond it, press shift and you’ll drop to the battlefield.

Best way to get emeralds in the mines is mining redstone (especially in the two locations where they spawn in large amounts) and spawner rooms for the treasure chests, also level 2 is still locked, when it gets open it might allow for much easier money making methods.

TIP for ghasts: wait until they are half health and then shoot. You'll get the kill more times.

for mining you should focus on mining redstone (it drops more than one), there is a lush cave biome that has some parkour and at the end there are a lot of redstone

me: It took me two and a half hours to do everything, and I completed two of the quests by accident.

2:15 yeah I did that quest by stealing the ghast kills >:) (also emerald grinding tip: yes the mine is the best place to grind, but instead of the elevator, got to the left and fall down the abyss. Then look for a place with lava and a LOT of red stone(u'll need iron gear for this), when u have found it, there should be 2 ways: one on the left, the other on the right. Go to the one on the left one and u should've found a dungeon with 3 spawners with chests too. Break them, get the loot, head to the place with lava and red stone and mine ALL the ores there. By the time ur done with that, the loot and spawners will regenerate, so do it all over again. When ur inventory is full, go to the lava n' red stone place, look for a rail, place a minecart( they are in the chest of the dungeons), place it and at the end u have to find a sign to the spawn, follow it and u'll get 2800 emeralds at least!)

A strategy that worked for me in getting ghasts was instead of shooting the ghast till it dies, instead wait with a charged bow, aming at the ghast and waiting until other people get it low enough for you to shoot it down. Also, instead of staying in the center, try to go for the edges, as that’s a place most people won’t go, thus there will be more free kills left for you. A thing I noticed is that after the last iron golem has been killed, the ghasts generally don’t spawn so focus on defending the gate so you get the emeralds and xp to upgrade your bow and other weapons. The potato launcher is pretty useless at shooting ghasts but quite good against other enemies, so I recommend using a bow instead.

Edit: someone wrote in the comments that now you don’t have to kill the ghast for it to count, but still, if that’s true, try to shoot every ghast you see at least once and upgrade your bow since it will be needed for a future task, where you need 2 golems to survive.

I was just able to get it in about an hour with some guides (Xisumavoid's, and glitching through the wall to better defend the iron golems)
I think they may have extended it another week!

The third quest is killing 200 mobs which is quite easy when you're in the mines. Also, if you go around the map you can find emeralds just laying about and you can get extra emeralds through that which I haven't exploring the whole map and I think I got them all but I don't know. This is fun. Most fun I've ever had in a long time. Like I said, I did quest one and two at the same time and then three came today. It's easy

in my experience, leaving or teleporting out saves progress and when you come back you are at the same point with the same items. I use that to get back to one of the sweetspots the next day. i think you only lose stuff when you die

The ghast thing was either bugged or they changed it. For me it counted when I just damaged a ghast once (requiring that it dies of course)
