Hi, Cool, very useful. would this work for me if i want to have on one sheet a drop down list, choose a material. then the material specified shows up in the next column, then on another sheet the price is automatically referenced and then calculated to the specified quantity. I do this and i keep getting an error 508

For example, I need a sum to show if it has been input after a certain date AND it matches another entry in a column - something like: =SUMIF('Data'!C3:C256, "*Op*" + Date >= (2016, 9, 1), 'Data'!D3:D256)?

I can get the =SUMIF('Data'!C3:C256, "*Op*", 'Data'!D3:D256) to work where it sums data in 1 column (D) where another column (C) has entries matching "Ops". I need to be able to ONLY show the sum of column D if it occurs after 9/1/16. Make sense?

can i have code for something like this

i have list of items with its qty on sheet one with specific item code, now on an other sheet i have to add item which i have bought what i want is when i enter an item using its specific item code and i put qty how many i have bought more it should add qty automatically for that item

EG: sheet 1 item code is Z2DP-B have qty 30
now when i make an entry on sheet 2 Z2DP-B qty 50

it should automatically change total qty on sheet one for this specific item from 30 to 80

i hope i have explained enough :P
