Note in the intro to this the female anchor asking what potential there was in a Russian invasion of the Ukraine to 'the west here'.
The vocal inflection was ironic. She was referring to America as if the US was the west to the exclusion of anyone else. I just caught the way it was said and was once again reminded of America's complete arrogance as a nation.
