Wow you play this SO differently than I do. I use my fist in a hammer style or the heel of my palm to get the deep bass and then rock my knuckles for toned hits and use the sides and flat of my fingers for other tone and hit the sides of the box or the top for the snare. Much more punishing but deeper (and also crisper) tones but yeah, you have a reeeeally well made box to use it that way! I like it, I'm gonna start incorporating that stuff as ghost notes.
