I'm buying it. As a research scientist, this development of capitalism is so inspiring. Thank you so much!

Perfect for students when you ignore the price... 😧

Why not let someone except the artist test the tablet and upload the video which has never been processed?

Hand-lettered screen at the beginning: "It Let's [sic] Your Mind Roam Freely." (Yeesh, fellas...)

This looks like note taking in slow motion. Really hoping we'll start seeing some user reviews of this platform to illustrate how well it performs with realistic use-case scenarios

Is there a place I can try hands on before buying? Kind of silly to buy a product in this pricepoint only based on company produced videos.

I would like to see more on the notebook feature... If I were to have a worksheet full of questions - Could I move the PDF of that page into my notebook on the reMarkable and make it into a page in my notebook? Would I be able to add pages after that? Would I be able to easily scroll through the pages of my notebook in case I would need to reread a question?
Also, how quickly would I be able to access my textbook PDF from the notebook page I just created? If I opened the textbook PDF and went back to my notebook then tried to open my textbook again, would I have to re-enter the page number? Is there a feature that allows me to input PDF page numbers?
A lot of these problems could be deleted if you could turn the textbook into a notebook in itself and integrate other PDFs into this new notebook as pages within it. It would also help if you could create pages to take notes within this new notebook.. But Im unsure if that's possible because they made it seem like reading and writing in the reMarkable are two separate activities whereas, in student life, the two tend to mingle and cross paths more often than they might show in these showcase videos.
So many unanswered questions. They didn't really cover a lot of the problems that might arise for students.

Good afternoon. I have a friend in Europe coming to Brazil next week. I would like to know physical stores in Germany where they sell the Remarkable. Thank you.

I very liked Sony DPT-S1 design but i didn't know what is better, Sony DPT-S1, Sony DPT-RP1 and reMarkable. Too many choices for student especially don't know anything about technology from overseas and don't expert in English. I hope have many video detail about the digital paper.

sucks to compare, but why this over surface? 512MB RAM is a joke. I'd rather buy $7 notebook with no latency and doodle all I want. If reading books is the key, I'd recommend nook (or kindle whatever is better than this). Interesting at first, but after I saw the price, not a single chance. If you are a little into tech, you'd know this isn't a good trade at all.
For people wondering about note-taking, don't even bother. It's e-ink. It'll take forever to take one page if prof is nice enough to leave the ppt alone. I would still consider if this thing was $250.

I am mainly going to use it for reading PDF files. I cannot find a way of setting text or resolution of the PDF files. Text setting is only available under Ebook

Also when I go to erase a text I lose my original Pen setting selection. How can I set my default pen settings

thank you

With modern LCD and AMOLED tablets out today, I don't see how these companies will stay around. I would love to buy one of these, but I'd essentially be buying it to write on and with. I can already do this on my iPad Pro, but it is true that notifications can be ridiculous, even if I can switch them off. But paying nearly the same cost of my iPad Pro for an e-ink tab that's way smaller (screen size wise)? Overpriced ATM.

I do want to try it out, though. Maybe seeing is believing. This was the case for my iPad Pro, after all.
