Today I'm going to demonstrate how to use the Flex Time function in Logic Pro. Flex Time allows you to adjust the timing of audio tracks without degrading the original recorded material.

In this video you'll learn:
•How to quantize audio using the Flex Time feature
•Which Flex Time mode/algorithm to use for specific instruments
•How to add flex markers to manually tweak the timing of audio tracks

If you have any questions please leave them in the comments, and I will be happy to answer them.

Hi. Thanks for the video. I was wondering: is there a way that you can time stretch in such a way that instead of it effecting the audio both to the right and the left of the time point, it instead pulls (or pushes) the end of the track along with the time point, so that the audio to the right remains unchanged? I hope this makes sense.

I appreciate anyone sharing their tips. BUT - why do Logic Pro tips always have music on. Many of us are working on music and don't need someone else's tune in their head.
