Roses and Carnations are wonderfully consistent, hardy flowers! However, there are a few tips and tricks for optimal care. Read on below for all the details!

------------------------------------
MORE INFORMATION:

------------------------------------
FOR ROSES:
- Cut and leave wrapping on for 1 hour BEFORE removing the cardboard. This allows the roses to rehydrate after shipping while upright and supported. This prevents sad drooping.
- After 1 hour, remove wrapping and space out in its own vessel.
- If the base of the rose feels hard or tight, feel free to use a blow dryer (cool temp only!) to blow into the heads of the roses. This will help them open without damaging the blooms.
- Placing them in a sunny spot for the day and spacing them out typically helps them open to their full capacity.

FOR CARNATIONS:
- These ladies are super easy to care for! Just cut and place in fresh, clean water.
- Use your thumb to push the petals open if closed, you can't hurt' em!

This is so helpful. Thank you for sharing! I have a question tho, you don’t dip your flowers in water while prepping?

Hello! So thankful for your channel!

I have an event Sunday PM that I am trying to make flowers for. Is it ok to buy the flowers on Friday? Also where do you recommend storing at home? Is garage ok if the weather is cool?

I’ve been looking for advice on just these issues. Thank you so much for this video. I’m so glad to have come across this. I’m doing my best friends son wedding centerpieces. I did my daughters too but it’s not the same when you do it for someone else. Thank you so much.

Question.. in doing a Sunday wedding, can I do all the greenery on Friday? What about the bouquets? Saturday is safe ? I’m also doing church pews with the pew holders Can they be done on Saturday? Or Friday is also ok? Thank you so much..love everything that I have seen on all your videos

Do you normally wire your roses? And does the type of rose affect that?
