*_He has not shown the case where 2 roots are equal_*
Say for this equation -->> an - 4(an -1) + 4 an-2=0
In this case our roots will be equal, that is we will get 2, 2 as our roots..
*_For this case we have a different equation_* --> an=c1(root 1)^n + c2 n (root 2)^n

So for the above given equation the ans will be--->> an = c1 (2)^n + c2 n (2)^n
