In 1947 after World War II, the country of Romania came under a ferocious communist regime imposed by the USSR. During this time, churches were closed, pastors were arrested and imprisoned, and Christians underwent great persecution. Now in a politically free Romania, HeartCry Missionary Sorin Prodan explains the great need for sound biblical churches to proclaim the gospel to this secular nation. His desire and prayer is that “God would raise missionaries and pastors that would join us to establish biblical churches in Romania.”

Watch to learn about the gospel need in the country of Romania from one of HeartCry’s longest-supported missionaries.

HeartCry seeks to advance the Great Commission by supporting missionaries, training missionaries, resourcing missionaries, planting churches, and then declaring God's great works to God's people.

I'm from Bulgaria, and the same happened after the USSR came here. I was born in 1989 so I don't know what life was in this period but can see its consequences. I can see that we here in Bulgaria NEED faithful pastors who love the LORD and preach the WORD of GOD . Pray for Bulgaria and Romania

Praying for you my brothers and sisters in Romania. We need revival in the USA. There are still biblical churches but we are a small minority.

I hope Romania will keep its Orthodox tradition intact and never switch to sects or other neo Christian nonsense. Orthodoxy is the only true faith in Romania and Eastern Europe.
