Diving Raja Ampat on the Dune Aurora

They did say you’d be beautiful, Indonesia. But still you surpassed all expectations.

The travel time and shark-shortage were well worth it. You put a smile on all our faces. And everyone we met smiled back at us. Raja Ampat had everything you could offer a diver: clear blue waters, a soft warm sun, and pristine coral reefs teeming with life and colors that Mother Nature has no business replicating.

Oh and sea fans. Lots and lots and lots and lots of sea fans… Plus 763+ species of seemingly identical yellow fish. Not to mention surprisingly painful venomous plants!

But I digress. All that is besides the point! The point is: thank you Raja! And we’ll be back!
