So now people will go outside the city where there is more of a chance of wildfires and longer response times.

Because banning fireworks has ever stopped anybody.

I think the council should get out of our business. It's not their job

Good luck with that, they can't even keep people from crapping on the side walk. I am betting more fire works than ever.

I agree, not because of so-called climate change, but because fireworks can ignite homes and other structures, the loud noises terrify animals and upsets some people. I hope Clackamas County and Washington County will also ban fireworks that don't belong in residential areas.

I hate fireworks! I'm not 12 years old anymore. All the other species hate fireworks too. Mom's putting their kids to bed, I would imagine hate fireworks. People that have to get up in the morning hate fireworks. People that have suffered injuries would probably regret dealing with fireworks (some of those are kids with missing fingers). In my area, whenever I hear fireworks it's always lower IQ people that don't care about anything or anybody and overly entertained by snap, crackle, and pop.
