Same thing happened back in the early 90s. The series like Dragonball, Saint Seiya, Fist of the North Star, and early JoJo that carried the magazine through the 80s all ended and Shueisha didn't have anything to pick up the mantle. Then Slam Dunk exploded out of nowhere and saved the magazine. They'll be fine, they just have to stop cancelling series so early.

Completely agree been saying this for ages. People LOVE to doom gloom post like forneverworld whenever any series in jump ends. I remember how when bleach and Naruto ended how people were posting “the magazine is finished! One piece alone can’t carry!” And then mha blew up. Then demon slayer blew up so much more than anyone anticipated. Then jjk. Now we have Sakamoto Days & Akane ba nashi getting big. Undead unluck finally getting the attention it deserves. Mashle did great while it was running. Now Nue’s Exorcist is brand new and blowing up in Japan. Kagurabachi may have been a meme but it looks like it’s actually picking up steam and an audience for itself

Gw baru lulus SMA th 2022. Sejak SMA tmn2 udah pada sibuk nyari PTN, searching2 dsb. Begitu lulus langsung pada kuliah. Sedangkan gw ngga. Keluarga gw bisa dianggep berada. Pas banget waktu gw baru lulus eh ortu buka bisnis baru. Dan ortu gw selalu mengajarkan buat melihat opportunities2 yg tersedia utk dicoba. Salah 1 nya bisnis baru ortu ini. 'kalo kamu mau jadi entrepreneur, km ga perlu belajar di universitas, papa SM mama bisa ngajarin kamu langsung'. Kalo kata papa malah LBH bagus karena langsung belajar terjun kelapangan. Cuman masyarakat EMG mindset nya biner banget. Kalo lulus SMA ngga kuliah tu kek, ngga banget. 'ih masa ga kuliah si'. 'kurang berpendidikan' atau 'susah kerja lho nanti'. Sempet setres Krn tekanan dan sindiran masyarakat dan temen2 yg mindset nya kaya gitu. Tapi Bersyukur banget Krn orang tua slalu ngajarin pola pikir probabilistik. Learn anywhere, Anytime. Kalo kata ortu gitu. Belajar ga cuman bisa dilakuin di institusi atau tempat2 formal kaya universitas. Justru skrg gw mikir, kalo ujung2 nya jadi entrepreneur juga, mendingan belajar langsung kaya gini. Buat sekedar tambahan, ortu gw dua2nya sarjana universitas favorit nasional, dan mama S2 psikologi. At the end ya kita punya jalan masing2. Kaya pepatah, ada seribu jalan menuju Roma. Find what works the best for you. Kalo emg itu works buat kamu, enjoyable, dan baik, don't let ppl tell you otherwise.

Black clover was never a “big series” as much as it’s fans want to say it was. I personally love black clover but it stagnated in sales pretty early on and never reached the level of sales as it’s contemporary my hero academia. While yes it’s a long running series now at 30 ish volumes, which is super long for jump these days, it was never a priority series and more of a middling of the magazine series that was successful enough to have its own fanbase, not get axed and really not be too bothered much like how Mission Yozakura family is nowadays

Not to mention that the authors of these series aren't just going to die once they finish writing these manga. Most of them are probably going to take a break for a few years, do research, sketch concept art, then make new series. Horikoshi already talked about his plans to potentially make a horror manga after My Hero Academia. These authors are just going to go back into the rotation pitching new series once their current series end. It's the circle of life, y'know?
