I got one a week ago. It’s my favorite diver I own. The quartz movement just makes it my favorite choice when I need to grab a watch. I wish it didn’t have a date wheel.

Got this watch a few months back after watching your review of it. It truly is a great everyday grab and go type watch. The 20mm lug width is great for being able to swap straps and bands depending on what you’re doing that day. The thin-ness and also the curved lugs lend to this ‘larger’ watch wearing smaller than it seems. I’ve always been thinking 40mm to be the size cap for me (~6.75” wrist) but this watch is a bit of a sleeper as it seems to wear smaller. The movement and solar capability is great as like others had stated, it’s super accurate, and not having to worry about changing batteries or keeping it wound up. Def worth picking one up if you’re thinking about it… Cheers!

Nice review, good work! I’ve just picked one up for less than £100/$122 for a case and crown replacement. Looks a fantastic diver and I can’t wait to get it repaired and under the water where it belongs.

I have the other - blue model SNE593. I took this over new GMT. As this has sapphire crystal, screw down crown, and it is Diver's 200m.

Own one and cant fault it. If i had to change anything i would go for a new gloss ceramic bezel insert the same markings rolex sea dweller style.

One correction - sapphire doesn't have AR coating. Do your homework, don't just say by default "sapphire with AR coating" if your didn't even bother to check it before the review. Seiko explicitly points this out on the offical web page, for every watch that has AR coating that is mentioned. For this one not since it doesn't have it and that is biggest deal breaker for me. I've seen it in person and when the light hits it directly it's awful.
