Coca-cola hasn't been "the real thing" for me since I was a kid in 70s. Ah, those summer days at the city pool and pulling one of those huge glass bottles out of the machines with the long narrow glass door on the side, nothing like it! Those cokes were so strong the carbonation went right up your nose and made your sinuses feel like they were being boiled out, and we loved it, it was bracing and refreshing!

I'm from Georgia, and I've visited the grave of Colonel Pemberton, the inventor of Coca-cola. He developed the formula to help him with War wounds from The War Between the States, as we call it down here. 😊
