People are forgetting how good the Texas defense is. Texas definitely survives the first quarter. The problem is the offense does not give the defense enough rest. They bend but don't break early, but they can break later when exhausted. ASU had 6 offensive points with 6:32 left in the 4th quarter. Clemson had 10 in the first half.

Even Georgia when they had 23 points in the first half, 14 of those points were after a fumble that left them 13 yards to go and an interception that gave them a short field with only 34 yards to go.

OSU should definitely be favored and I see them likely winning, but the Texas defense will be strong early.

as a buckeye fan i just don’t see OSU smashing texas like they did to tenn and ore. it’ll be closer then everyone is saying. 24-13 is my prediction
