Not to make this about black people, because black isn't a monolith, BUT, I come from Southern Africa where many women became curvy. If we all tried to fit into the european beauty standards, a lot of us would go clinically insane. A lot of us have curves, hips, big booties, thick thighs. I think her mother saw those curvy genes starting to come in and knew there was no fighting nature. And that nature is also beautiful. I hope she and her daughter enjoyed their pizza that day and many other days afterwards !
