There’s a very strange resonance in the audio. Might have something to do with the size of the room and the degree of treatment. Have you tried using a hypercardioid mic instead?

I have them all except the slr shot gun mic and xlr recorder, for that I use a rode video mic pro and a zoom h1n, it sounds amazing, I set the mic to 20db and find the best setting for the zoom depending on what I am recording, the mic dies the heavy lifting, and the mic is on a boom pole with a dead cat

What mic do you recommend for a mobile phone? I want to record voices in a martial arts gym but there is always music and fan noise. Noise cancelling mics make all the sound come off as unnatural. The music and background noise is muffled in the audio. I am really wanting a wireless option.
