A short clip showing how to find my favorite vendor in New Vegas because it took me way to long to realize this man existed.

I just love the fact that, in the place that is arguably the focal point of the entire plot, there's a guy with more ammo than God willing to sell it to you if you're a smooth enough talker and liked by the NCR. It kind of reinforces the fact that despite their leadership's overall incompetence, and being stretched too thin, the NCR still had some level of preparation for this, although the fact that you can, let's face it, bribe him to buy off those supplies is a very good example of one of the many reasons why the NCR would lose the dam without an external force helping them.

"And thus the ncr lost the battle for hoover dam because the courier bought out their entire ammunition stockpile from a corrupt quartermaster right before the battle began, leaving them with no ammo to shoot the legion hordes with. The end."

It took me hundreds of hours before I stumbled across this vendor...I found the Chinese stealth armor before finding this.

*running across the dam with a wagonload of bullets*
“Hit ‘em now, Legion! They just pawned off their entire ammo reserve!”

The whole Hoover Dam interior is one of the unfortunately unutilized areas of the game, where the player has zero reasons to go until the final missions. I literally never explored it. You can tell that Obsidian had plans for this huge area - otherwise they wouldn't have made it so huge - but they had to scrap them because of lack of development time.

There's a Great Khan armory in the basement of a destroyed house outside Red Rock Canyon. While it doesn't have as much ammo as Bardon here, they still have a metric shit ton of ammo.

If you think about it, the player character is the best vendor in the game

I wouldn't even know how much I've played New Vegas, and I had no idea this guy exists. Now I have a third go-to vendor for buying ammo from alongside the Gun Runners robot and the guy at the I-88 rest stop.

I found this dude randomly exploring the dam when I was younger and have always used him. I’m glad others found him too.

Hoover "Birthplace of 45-70 Gov't ammo" Dam.

Lonesome Road did not became soo lonely with all the ammo I was carring after 3 visits in this guy.

I'll stick to the gun runners near the north gate of Vegas or the independent vender where you meet Veronica both are 8K caps strong plus ammo plus mods for weapons. You just can't beat either one.

Have played this game for 1000+ hours 10 or more level 50 characters and I’ve never come across this guy, probably because I’ve never needed another vendor then the gun runners and the sink, but that mass amount of special ammo he has in stock will be worth the short walk through the damn, especially since I don’t have to wait 72 hours to restock the vendors caps back to 8000

Quartermaster Bardon is a non-playable character in the video game "Fallout: New Vegas". He is a quartermaster stationed at Hoover Dam in the Mojave Wasteland. His role is to provide supplies and weapons to the troops stationed at the camp. Players can interact with him to purchase weapons, ammunition, and other items. He also serves as an NPC involved in several side quests and missions in the game.

The Great Khan armorer is also pretty solid. Ended up with several thousands of 12.7mm rounds from them.

Never understood if it was a bug or a intentional decision, that him and the Khan merchant, have such a huge amount of ammo available.

NCR:
Ungodly amount of ammo
Awesome ranger armor
Help radio
Legion:
Cool armor?

Patrolling the Mojave, almost makes me wish for a Nuclear Christmas.

Personally I think the Great Khan Armorer is a little bit better because you dont have to go through as many loading screens and also you can use them on all playthroughs even ones where the NCR doesn't like you much.
