It feels like I am being transported to the forties when watching all this horror unfolding before my eyes. The massive, indiscriminate bombing, the deliberate starvation, the killing of women and children, the destruction of schools and hospitals and list goes on and on. It's a level of cruelty and barbarity that I thought we will never see after the horror of world war 2.
