Who’s the most meta character you know? Is It priestess? Or priestess? Or perhaps, maybe even...priestess? Whoever you choose as an answer, are they meta enough to evade the hunter's grasp for 10 hours? The infamous match that, supposedly, lasted 10 hours, or 626 minutes, is a bit of an idv urban myth. Today we're going to revisit the events in the year 2019, to understand what happened on that fateful March day.

Yes, I'm an avid Internet Historian fan and I tried to make videos like this in his style.

- The surrender-button feature was added as a result of this match.
- The changing of the dungeon's location was added as a result of this match (Tiên Huỳnh)
- The Priestess was a streamer and this match apparently took place live. The Clown was determined to get a 4-man, and even slugged the Merc, who was a fan of the streamer, as well as taunting the Priestess live. This, combined with his inability to down the Priestess, led to backlash from thousands of people (approximately 95k people had at least tuned into the stream), hence why the Priestess took down the original stream.
- The hunter gave up as his power was about to be shut off and he had school the next day, hence the Priestess was the sole escapee of the 10-hour standoff. Huge thanks to u/sweetxsecret on reddit for the extra info!

I actually have a match last year where I was elk playing ench in a bot match, there was a part where a bot coord kept on vaulting a pallet and the bot hunter trying to hit the coord but kept missing. Till today I still havent gotten the deduction

Thinking priestess as a roach 🪳 is popular in the fandom. She need to get that skin if she haven’t already. The color can either be monochrome brown or candy pink.
Why stop there, little girl being leech and toy merchant, housefly. There’s more I come up with, doctor ladybug, undead locust, soul weaver tarantula and dream witch fungus.
I come up with a lore with them each, is not like it matters or anything.

i wish to live in a world where the idv community wasn't toxic to the point of making us lose the chance of seeing this epic 10 hour battle, afterall there would be always that 1 legend who wouldve stored/saved the stream..

2018 Priestess was really, really bad

It took her forever to place portals and it took her forever to go trough the portals, the match was after a series of buffs that made her OP

The Priestess was (Probably still is) a very popular streamer and Merc was their fan

There is no footage of the match since the Priestess took it down so the Smiley didn't get any backlash for slugging Merc and taunting Priestess

Priestess technically didn't escape, the hunter had to surrender because of mandatory lights-out on their room

I remember in maybe 2019 on Moonlit, I was Wu Chang against like a decoder and 3 priestesses, and this was before Wu Chang buff and priestess nerf so you know what’s happening. I eliminate the decoders, and all I see is 2 priestesses near the gap between the map. Apparently, their strat was for one of them to decode while the others create portals across the gap. No matter how many teleports I did or portal breaks, I still couldn’t catch them. Idk why I didn’t switch targets, but even if I did, they maybe had a back up plan so the decoding priestess can come to the gap and one of the priestesses full for her. I didn’t know how to surrender so I let them win

+ smiley needs a buff asap, that was so unfair imo :((

I remember this ALMOST 1 hour elk rank match that me and a friend of mine got into against a teleporting trait Wu Chang who is camping the last cipher in Arms Factory. The cipher is almost primed (I believe it is around 80ish percent) and we have no chance to do other ciphers because those other ciphers are very next to almost primed one which makes the hunter have an easier way to check and camp all together with his teleporting abilities. We are at half health and it was my first time playing Toy Merchant at that time (And it was my first days of playing IDV hence I still don't understand some concepts), me and my friend were VCing and we are confused af on what to do so we keep the rest of the minutes "harassing" Wu Chang to use their teleporting trait and skill to get out of the primed cipher one. The game ended a tie through hunter surrender because Wu Chang has enough of a Toy Merchant flying, a Forward "threatening" with the use of his presence (which they thought that the perfume is the ball), and their dinner is getting cold.
