I dealt with a phobia of worms most of my life, just imagining holding one and then it just burrowing in. even so, these things are adorable

Back when i participated larvae competition for hercules in asia, we would avoid group feeding the males larvae as they tend to compete and attack each other. We would also avoid larvae swimming in poop since they will start decrease in weight or pupae prematurely. Each male were isolated in a 2L container with fresh media constantly replenished. Thats how we raised 170mm+ Lichyi and thick horned DHH. Takes years but really rewarding.
