Good effort.. the guy who put that engine back together he was definitely impact gun happy. Head bolt needs torquing in particular sequence according to the manual and then as far as i remember needs 2 90 degree passes, that mortor will be back again for another rebuild lol.

OLÁ 18/05/24 O uso de "chave de impacto" é ótimo para QUEBRAR parafusos com excesso de aperto ou apertados com TORQUE ÂNGULAR. Na montagem JAMAIS SE UTILISA a chave de impacto, mesmo que o aperto inicial não seja excessivo, esta forma de aperto inicial facilmente deforma o alojamento para bronzinas e o resultado será "vida mais curta". Os motores já não mais aguentam este tipo de montagem. ABRAÇOS...Roberto Udo Krapf

Engine mounts also must be renewed !! the motor is moving too much in the old ones !!! Rubber ist too old and torn !

i owned toyota hilux with 1kz engine, now the head of cylinder is cracking and the whole piece need to rebuild and i have to pay 1300$ USD for the replacement new head cylinder and others pieces back. my question is how long does this engine can run after restoration?
