This is true. My daughter never slept in a bassinet or crib. I had a c section and a recliner was extremely comfortable for me with pillows underneath me and all around me and my daughter would sleep in my arms on my chest and she would knock out so hard. I would wake up every 2 hours to feed her and change her diaper. If I didn't wake up she would have slept through the night as a newborn and I didn't think that was safe because she needs to eat. My daughter is now 11 and to this day still sleeping with me in my bed. I love it and I'll never kick her out. She doesn't like having her own room and since it's just us two sure we can share my room and use your room as a play area and more closet space for clothes.

My son was born with a throat defect, was in the NICU, and had to have an operation at just 1 week old! But when I went to stay with him a few hours after birth, the nurses couldn't get him to calm down! But, as soon as they placed him in my arms, he calmed right down immediately! Then, after a few hours, I had to get some rest, and the nurses asked if they could come get me if that issue came up again, and I said, ' Absolutely!!'! There's never been anything sweeter than being able to calm him down like that!❤

I miss my daughter being a newborn. I cannot wait to meet my next. I'm also just loving the stage my daughter is in. She is so beautiful and amazing and I love everything she does

I feel sad that my baby and I we didn't do skin to skin right after birth but i thank God she is alive there are women have stillbirth so i dont want to complain too much. Those who gave birth and hear the first cry of their baby and hold their babies you very lucky...

My mother wasn't affectionate at all but i'm grateful for my aunt, grandmother, and a family friend that filled the gap. Once, when i was 11 y/o, i fell asleep next to my grandmother. My head was on her chest and her heartbeat lulled me to sleep.
