The presentation in capitalist media of the "Evul Capitalist" is almost always focused on individual greedy, mean owners who stand there as a form of catharsis for the largely working class viewer. They are often contrasted with "real" or "good" hard working capitalists who deserve their success. It's the same idea of having the "Good King" Richard return to help Robin Hood stop Prince John. These messages never present capitalism, or monarchy, or any other system as having inherent problems, but rather allows workers and peasants to place their problems on the idea of individual bad actors

IMO Hollywood movies often use low key, though intentionally non confrontational anti-capitalist messages as a way of co-opting any sort of revolutionary sentiment, or even just sentiment that questions long held societal norms, and defanging them. its a way for the system to deprive new ideas and messages of their meaning and power.

I hope that there is never a definitive last episode of "the whole plate" each episode is always a surprise and a joy to watch. To be clear I hope Lindsay Elis stops when she gets bored of it I just don't want to know there will never be a new one
