Of course, she didn't discard it. I think that the weight thing might be more like it. I can't understand why people are making such a fuss about it anyway. I don't always wear my engagement ring either. My husband has bought me other rings over the years, and it would be silly not to wear them and ring the changes. Any woman would know this!

She probably was to scared to loose that ring, and keep it somewhere safe, she could be in remission for now but cancer can come back, a friend of mine died recently of pancreatic cancer he was also in remission for a while. A very worrying situation.
