God this is what this song is about, I love it so much people go through rough times but god helps you and picks you up to lead you in the right direction in life, never the wrong. If you think you do everything is wrong and talk bad about yourself, its not true your truly wonderful inside you just have to believe in yourself and trust god :)

My absolute favourite song.  This is so beautiful, it brings tears to my eyes.  Every time I hear the chorus, I lift my hands give God all my sadness and sorrow.  Broken Hallelujah - it fits perfectly.   I'm still praising  God, even though I'm feeling broken sometimes, and he takes the pain away.  PHEW!

I heard first heard this song in a room filled with 4, 000 people when my daughters roomate and close friend passed away unexpectedly from a heroin overdose 2 years ago.
Thing youngs girls father was the preacher, and being a Catholic, I had never attended a funeral where 4, 000 people were singong at the top of thier lungs qith total faith and live in thier hearts, even through this tradgedy! This gave me a renewed sense of faith; and when life is at its worse, I go back and listen to this song, which not only brings tears to my eyes, but a renewed faith that everything will work out ok.
