You are capable of 15 mph when chased. Black Mamba is capable of 35 mph even with it's head 4 ft off the ground. Had one outside my truck window for several miles and we were clocking his speed at 35 mph. His head was a steady 4 feet of the ground.

Box jellyfish are less non-aggressive and more incapable of feeling aggression or anything else as they don't have brains.
Also octopi are smart and that one probably knew it was in no danger, still an idiotic thing to do
