Κυριακή και πλήθος Ελλήνων και τουριστών σχημάτισαν μεγάλες ουρές για να επισκεφτούν τους αρχαιολογικούς χώρους, όπως το Ναό του Ολυμπίου Διός, την Ακρόπολη, το νέο μουσείο της Ακρόπολης και το Εθνικό Αρχαιολογικό Μουσείο. Η είσοδος σήμερα ήταν δωρεάν και σε συνδυασμό με τον ηλιόλουστο καιρό και τη ζεστή θερμοκρασία των 18°c που επικράτησε, πολλοί προτίμησαν να αξιοποιήσουν αυτήν την ευκαιρία.
